Amazing stay here. Was put in this hotel for an unexpected layover in Doha, the lady who was the hotel receptionist and also door staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Could not recommend the staff enough, really pleased with my stay. Lovely clean and comfortable room too I also booked the 3 hour group city tour which ended up just being me and the tour guide. The tour guide was incredible, lovely man and really informative and accommodating to anything I wanted to do! Highly recommend if you are visiting and thank you again to the tour guide for making it such a lovely experience in Doha.

Worst hotel experience ever

Today I arrived to Doha only to discover that my room, as well as 5 other rooms I booked, were cancelled by the hotel manager 6 hours earlier without my consent or knowledge, and the reason he used was that the payment method was problematic although I opted for the payment option to the counter on Expedia website and I prepaid through my credit card. Also I did call the hotel 2 days before arrival to reconfirm my payment method and they were ok with it. What was even worst is that Expedia never notified me through email about this last minute cancellation that took place 6 hours before check in! I struggled to find an available accommodation this weekend and had to pay a lot of money since all hotels were overbooked in the city, and the prices were skyrocketing- this is probably the reason why the hotel manager was rushing to cancel our cheaper booking. I cannot express the amount of my disappointment and anger, all my companions who were supposed to join me had to change plans and bare costs. The hotel manager was even having trouble with other guests and he was disrespectful and unprofessional. It turned out that this was a weekend whereby saudis are coming en mass to the city for holidays and they wanted to make more money on the expense of those who pre-booked with cheaper prices. This hotel is to be avoided, greedy, disrespectful, and untrustworthy!

First I would like to thank you all the friendly staff ,most of them are really helpful. And the room is decent. And it’s really close the the museum only walk few mins to there. But I have a terrible experience about the breakfast that makes me really angry!! The woman who on duty for cook eggs on 18/2 morning is really bad attitude! I have 3 kids with me , first I order 2 eggs for me and my little boy , then my big boy order by himself. But after I took those two eggs , then she didn’t cook for my big boy, then my big boy ask her again , and come back to sit and eat other food first ,after a while he go to take the egg, but the lady still didn’t cook ! So my big boy ask again ! And my little boy help her sister ask for a fry egg also , she told him it’s finish ! So I have to leave the seat and go to ask the lady there are many eggs why you said finish , she said she already gave me two orders! I said right two orders for me and my little son but my big boy and my daughter also want eggs , their order you didn’t make , she said okay she will make , after a while , my girl go to take the eggs , but still there is only one !!! The lady still didn’t make the one for my big boy! See how many times he ask that she still didn’t make , so my boy have to ask again !! And stand there to wait till she finish !!! Sounds really crazy my boy finally get his eggs after we almost finish the breakfast, we are so tired that we didn’t sleep all night as our flight is overbooked , so we can’t get in the transit flight . we just want to eat something we like then have some good sleep. It’s really terrible the we met such bad attitude lady. And make us walk to her many times to order ! But I have to say excepting this lady all other staff are very nice and helpful . The reception and one staff give me apology, I regret that I didn’t tell them earlier so they can help , so my son don’t need to wait a long time and go and back again and again in the seat .

Decent hotel... but STOP CALLING ME!

The hotel itself is actually great value. We were put up here by Qatar Airways after a missed connection, and for what it costs, it is actually great value. The room was satisfactory, the staff were friendly and the food was good. Some impressive spa and fitness facilities as well. However, I must sadly knock off a star because of the incessant phone calls I received from the hotel reception. All I wanted to do was sleep after a nightmare of delays and the hotel staff called me FOUR TIMES, waking me up on each occasion. I asked them the third time not to call me again and they proceeded to do so. Their reasons for calling included letting me know my luggage had arrived, advising me that lunch would be served in half an hour and then doing the same for dinner. Then when I actually called the reception over a query no one picked up the phone! The following morning I also received a series of unrequested "wake-up calls" when I was in the shower. I would recommend staying here... but remember to pull out the phone cords before you go to sleep.
